  1. Wanted. 8 off nuts that hold 900 x 16 split wheel together on WW2 British vehicle. NOS or used good condition. Thanks
  2. anchor and letter A on front of nearside wing. Any ideas chaps ?. Hi. This marking was used by HMS Vectis, Cowes on the Isle of Wight. We have an MWD on the IOW that was "Left behind" after the war that served at HMS Vectis. During restoration this marking was found. However no Gtee is was not used elsewhere. HMS Vectis was involved in the naval planning for D-Day.......so presume it was a Naval marking

  5. Hendon is moving bits and bobs to Cosford.......just a thought
  6. We look forward to seeing you at Havenstreet this year...
  7. I did the same on my MWR. I have also noticed that some MW owners fit a non return valve after the tank selector to stop the petrol running back to the tanks. Demon Tweeks do them and I am thinking of fitting one. Not original but would help to solve the problem and you will not see it as it is hidden away. Just a thought.
  8. Enigma Hut advertise a reproduction Enigma Machine. Does any one know how much they are as they do not seem to reply to emails. I understand they had a stall at Stoneleigh. Any thoughts?
  9. May be the site owners will invest in more Toilet and Shower Blocks as the WPR Team have signed up for five years of shows. Would please very many vehicle owners and punters for sure.
  10. We have used Penrite Gear Oil - Trans Oil 140 in both gear box and diff for many years. It is designed for vintage vehicles and has no additives to damage yellow metal bearings, shims etc. ie it is not a Hupoid type oil. We have had no problems with our MWD, MWR , OSS and QL Bedfords using this.
  11. Same Team that bought it from Rex. They were at Stoneleigh yesterday. They said the basic layout from the previous shows at Beltring remains the same.

  17. WANTED a Lucas 764251 starter switch. This bolts on to the back of the starter on a Bedford MW to enable the cable pull to start the engine. New or serviceable will help. Thanks.
  18. Pat Ware and Ian Young did a great job at CMV and MMI. It is a pity the Publisher did not listen to it's readers. The MVT's Windscreen is now a good magazine under Ian Young's Editorship and will take readers away from CMV for sure.
