  1. Have you checked your brake adjustment? This is more likely to effect the straightline ability.
  2. You and me both mate! I'm trying to get on with the Scout Car but don't seem to find much time at the moment. Having a two year old cramps my workshop time a little.....
  3. The larger welds on the hull were originally done in the flat position. To replicate them exactly, you must weld them flat. To do this, you must turn the hull over and that is much easier to do in a frame than on the ground! Since we built this frame it has had one M4A4 hull, one M4A1 Grizzly hull, a Ram and probably another Ram soon.
  4. Possibly, what do you think? I don't know, are we? Perhaps a little....?
  5. Legal requirements or original fitment?
  6. I find if you refresh the page, they sort themselves out.
  7. Thanks guys. I'm sure there will be lots of opportunities for rides at A&E in June, don't be afraid to ask!
  8. All but a couple or so of the Scorpions were sold to a dealer in the UK, they were mainly empty hulls as the engines, gearboxes and many spares were sold at auction a while earlier. I think there are a couple at Waiouru and at least one ex-British Army imported from the UK in private hands. About the Ferrets, I know nothing!
  9. You shouldn't dish it out if you can't take it.
  10. It was a snowman? Sorry about that, I thought it was the bollard marking my parking space. :red:
  11. Blimey, entry into the elite clubhouse and now extra cocoa.......what a week this has been! I hope it doesn't go to my head.....
  12. That was me Jack! A chap on the Allied group on Missing Lynx was asking for interior shots of M4A4, never one to hide in the shadows, I thought I would direct him here!
  13. Jack, 112" over the cupola with the doors closed. How high is the bridge?
  14. Crocodile, Basilisk and Cockatrice are all reptiles, albeit the latter is mythological!
  15. Tank drivers always keep on good terms with the recovery boys...... you never know when you might need them!
  16. I think that would be worth 250 posts!
  17. Aah, something to which I can only aspire...... I never saw myself as a candidate for the 1000 post club, so you never know!
  18. It's lovely and warm in here. Blazing fire, lots of food and drink, dancing girls..... Another 92 posts and you'll be allowed in too!
  19. I felt the level of convoy marshalling at Route to Victory last year was spot on. The team of DRs worked wonders and at no point was it evident we were being marshalled. Is that what you had in mind Jack?
  20. You and whos army? Not the NZ Army, when I was at Masterton, the soldiers feeding us had never fired a weapon! We gave them all a play on the Bren firing blanks.
  21. Well of course there is restoration and restoration..... You'll be very welcome, just make sure you remove your chips first, you'll never get them through the airport scanners.:-D
  22. I'll just turn up and see where she looks best. Do we have attendants?
