When I win the lottery.......

I buy my paint from my local car paint supplier, synthetic, satin finish and thin it with white spirit. About £18 per litre, and I did my 110 with 2 litre's. One thing I have never done though is prime a vehcile, I just make sure it is well flatted first, very easy with an orbital sander.

Ian, the green on my dad's champ was done with a gloss roller and the black with an aerosol. If your there this sunday you will see my 110, painted the same way.

When my dad and I had a garage, I used to spray with two pack using a army gas mask!. Not ideal I know, but I used to get good results. As with anything, practice makes perfect.

My mum said I can't come out to play due to the current health and safety law not allowing me, blah blah.......... :whistle:

What I remember is that for the first week everybody supported the tanker driver's, and after a week everyone was getting fed up with no petrol and was glad that the tanker drivers went back to work. This is why the goverment screw us, they know we will give in.

I have been going to military vehcile shows for about 15 years, and in that time I have met some fantastic people and made some great friend's. The one thing that upset's me more than anything is the political in fighting betweens group's. I would like to say that I appriciate the show's that people organise, and would never critisize people's effort's in setting up a show. I have enjoyed every show that I have been to, what could be better than sitting in a field, surrounded by MV's with your mate's talking a load of rubbish whilst having a drink. From the moment I arrive to the moment I go home, I don't stop laughing, and that's what it's all about.

Vey important date today, it's my birthday!. Went down the pub sunday with all my family and friend's which resulted in a heated debate between my mum and dad about how old I am! :-o Mum say's i,m 38, dad say's i'm 40!. Happy birthday to me.

It's very easy to blame the police, but it's not thier fault, we have to blame the court's, they let them go with some stupid punishment. How many time's do we read of someone drunk, driving a car and killing someone and the scum bag has 30 previous conviction's!. It's a sad thing to say, but sometime's you have to take the law into your own hand's.

Don't pack to much stuff, ive seen cadet's loaded down with gear they did'nt need. Make sure you can get at your water bottle and sweets easy. Don't forget your loo roll!, take the cardboard centre out and squash flat, then put in a frezzer bag. Tesco's are doing camo wheel along cases at the moment, but I don't think your snco would approve!!! ;-) :whistle:

Gloss roller, ideal for the job and follow up with a good quaility paint brush for the awkward bits. I have painted about 4 motors now with a roller and all have come out brilliant. If i'm not on shift I'll come down and help.

Junior section?, good idea, fetch the water, make the tea, wash the motor's, that sort of thing. ;-)
