  1. temp sender right hand side of engine above manifold new one about 60 quid, or 3 million euros!!!!!

  3. did my coolant drain by removing drain plug from hull plate to the right of starter handle hole have lots of buckets then flush with hose put drain plug back in fill system with water run ten minutes ,wait ten mins ish carefully remove rad cap drain again drain plug back in fill 50/50 mix with old style blue antifreeze run with cap off to remove any air top up level then cap on ,if there is to much fluid in system they will spit it out from l/h side port normal operating temp is 185 f on mine beware if yours is gong over 200 f as system aint pressurising ie u have a leak:D

  5. hope it works out well ,i got the impression it was members of one of the organisers extended family that were trying to sell/raffle load of old tat! deserves to be good as the site is ok.
  6. bunker bash excellent ,one thing maybe for next year possibly worth looking at is pay ya money to get into show which could include half price entry to bunker?
  7. it just felt bit to much car boot sale/ village raffle than mv show , not a lot of military vehicles hope it gets better in years to come.

  13. no issue at all most coppers tend to look the other way! vehicle is road legal according to when built mine has red rear reflectors number plate light all the usual guff! no different to any other historic vehicle
  14. i would work on the hatch rather than hull and yes a file would be good take little bit off then try fit it etc good idea to have some one inside so can see where it is snagging up.
  15. sure is! which is why when i first got my ferret and began the process of road registering it i went straight to the top and contacted vosa to find out and get in writing the correct category of mot exemption ie motor tractor as there was a lot of conflicting advice!
  16. might need a bit of fettling at bottom of hatch/ hull to ensure hatch drops down low enough to allow hatch to engage at top is it miles out of fairly close?
  17. are there seals gasket o ring fitted to hatch if so remove might help
  18. pull pin out load into smoke discharger electrical pulse bang off it goes ! be great to see one work anyone ever done it?
