    I requested the MERLIN report for a vehicle, receiving the result it does not appear to be recorded as on the disposal list. Yes I have challenged the report as I have the release certificate. Has any one else had this issue, if so what was the outcome?

    Has any one been asked to help with a charity event by supplying a vehicle to encourage donations? If so what advise can be given?

    Difficult to interperate many years ago i was involved at an army base where the roads were open to the public when not firing and saw some one photographing buildings, we stopped them got details and reported to the guardroom, we were never advised of a follow up. This in the days before digital and social media

    I have had a "gentleman" who went into the back of my 1986 Tithonous Land Rover, the value of repair the insurance company have said is greater than the value, strangely they are asking for the other insurance company to assess the state of repairs required. I am challenging this as they will act on the negligent persons behalf. Have any one else come across this and what was the result? The insurance company have started saying I could have the vehicle registered as a C or D category which affects the sale on value

    I think you need to clarify a bit, is it a purchase from a private individual in which case I would suspect all should be in place, if purchase direct from MoD a bit more complicated

    I sympathise with you, when working in London a majority seemed to think the Highway Code was not for them, especially red traffic lights

    Managed to find this picture, not sure of the references of the stencils. Can any one help?

    I remember a book by Clive Cussler here they looked for a manuscript where the UK "gave" Canada to the USA, the last threads seem to reflect this. May be Time Team should be there

    This may cause problems for charity organisers, all their web sites advise to have a safety vehicle behind the cyclist, just what I have done

    I find threads like this absolutely enthralling, I wish I had the knowledge and more importantly the courage to attempt this kind of thing, my dabbles on the Land Rover have no comparison. All members that do this please be assured when I can find them I do read them, sometimes they give me an idea. Grey Funnel Line

    The front of the trailer has a worn out stencil, does any one have a picture of what should be there, I am assuming the top line is the NSN, the date is not the date into service and I have requested an FOI to try and clarify.

    Was Down at Witham the other day, checked the Landrovers all brackets as mine, solves one problem. Got the Bull dog 28 inch spade and found it does not fit either, need to source a spade
