  1. Went to Witham today, had a look at the Land Rovers, all seem to have the tags in different lengths,

  6. I must be getting close to finishing to ask this question, what colour, if any, was the pick axe painted which goes on the back of the Land Rover, mine is 1986. Also the handle appears to be in several colours was there a standard? Thanks in anticipation

  10. The land rover has come back from repairs in a gloss so alright there when I bought it it was matt and i think that looks better

  14. I have been looking at respraying my 110 Land Rover, I suspect it was painted when I bought it the finish was IFFR paint, apart from the purists would anyone be able to tell the difference between this and NATO Matt paint? Richard

Many thanks, I have some but not the one you supplied the link for, however that is now in my collection Its the usual each service can have different names or terms unique for them, I remember taking a Land Rover into Aldershot and told to go to LED, not a clue till said was Navy and they were polite and explianed
  16. A second question I think the rubber is 5mm thick, can anyone confirm? as I am now looking at anything to replicate them
  17. Re the gas pipe, T in the park a Kinross had a gas or oil pipe crossing the site, which up until 2 years a go was no problem, Health and safety decided not safe so T in the Park has moved to Strathallan, in my opinion more difficult to get to for festival goers
  18. Ruxy many thanks, the trouble with a facsimile the garage lost the bits so I have no sizes to go on, the land rover was direct from Witham so these were attached on receipt. Was not aware of the web site so many thanks Richard
  19. I am looking to finish the repairs to the 110 Land Rover and am have trouble the rubber strips which hang down and hold the reflectors. Does any one know the part number or even better a source for finding them. Thanks in advance. Richard

  23. Heard a radio broadcast today, the farmers are saying what's happening to them in all this. It seems it was issued due to a court order and ties in with one minister, can't remember the name, who wants to ban all diesels.
