  2. Yesterday whilst in Skipton , people actually queing to buy poppies from the veteran ! Great to see ,:thumbsup: even the other half said thats a first, quite a crowd were gathering ........we got ours ..
  3. I agree mate ,never done them for the money , its the enjoyment my dad gets , keeps him busy in his retirement . the way the things are going with military vehicles , we bought at the right time ......:drive:

  15. Channel 4 next saturday ,8.40p.m The Last Heroes , Veterans recall their fight, beginning with D-Day. Six part series , looks like it could be interesting and also moving .......... Plus it also beats having to watch Crap factor !!:whistle:
