On the 24th june at 10.00a.m, there will be an unveiling of a spitfire memorial at Fairhaven lake near Blackpool.John Coombes has asked me if anybody with R.A.F related vehicles will be able to roll up and be able to be displayed with the 3 spitfires that will be on display during the unveiling.(other ww2 military vehicles welcome too im sure ) We also need RAF related vehicles to join us for the Lytham Wartime Weekend on the 18-19th August on Lytham Green. We want to try and put on an Airfield scene, so again if you can help?.. also on the same day is Totally Transport further along the prom in Blackpool........ http://www.w3644.com/

Interesting story in todays Daily mail (page23) remains found of well preserved soldiers in their trench, a number were found still sat on a bench ,1 in bed and one in a foetal position after falling down stairs !! there is a good picture of the well preserved trench . check it out !!. very interesting .
