  1. I am looking for some pictures of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards stationed at Catterick camp during 1961-1963........ Thanks :coffee:
  2. If you type in Warton in Wartime on *bay there are 4 copies of the book i took the pic from . i have had my copy a few years it is very good and as i use to work on one of the former sites and live near by it is a joy to read .

  9. We use stainless steel in my job( catering equipment) we use a cleaning substance called Sheila Shine maybe its ok on aluminium..........

  11. Found some more pics of the old dodge today,they were taken in 1982 it is shown here with the body removed for blasting . The old ww2 tool box on the running board came off a Gi s widow many years ago with some nice original tools still in . Whilst stripping the body ,plastic rounds of ammo were found inside the glove box lip( it was still being used by the french police as a riot truck upto early 1980).........:coffee:

  18. Found these pics today of our old jeep body ,think one from Atlantic auto years ago was a good idea ....:coffee:
  19. This is as we found it in 1980 at Pete Grays .It just went in the garage ! good job no winch!!!!:coffee:
  20. The rear body was all made of steel,the only wooden bits being the slats of the seats .
