    Mechanic friend has been to my dads today and ok'd the engine(cheers steve). cleaning it has started, new gaskets ready and getting a new bearing for the back of it tomorrow ................

    when it stops leaking its out of oil:nut:mine use to leave a patch the size of a small cravat, (prefer your tophat measurement tho )hope it gets sorted..........:thumbsup:

    my aunty wore this pair during ww2 she also worked on tillys and K2 s (we have also found a service book too with a tilly mentioned in it ) , we have found a pic of her in a book covering womens uniforms ..... are there many pairs still around , what kind of money are they?...........

    Hi mate ,bear with me we are not mechanics .Just asked my dad , he says they just stop behind the engine , ours have a clip on them , the middle one holds the wires for the coils .regards Mark
