On the m61 this morn on their way to the celebrations abroad, my mate ian in his jeep with about 6 other jeeps and john newbold in his chevy ..they looked brill in amongst all the modern vehicles......

Was told yesterday at a rally that a local ford dealer here ran two jeeps as courtesy cars , they were fitted with bespoke wooden cabs i believe ,(trying to see if i can trace some pics):coffee:

My dad helped drive oyster bills jeep in the late forties as the guy was pissed , think this footage of the bren gun carriers is fantastic (just found it)

www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=47788 check this out, really good footage of the bren gun carriers on the beach(1947) look out at about a minute and a half for a jeep with rear wheel arch covers towing an ice cream van.(my dad has a log look for one of these jeeps some where with the italian families name in it.:coffee: ) (DEGSY YOU WILL LIKE THIS MATE)

Spotted on sat night , old swb land rover on a trailer , and a series 3 lwb on a trailer behind it , both looked like they had just been found in a barn. They were coming out of blackpool on the main road. iwas sat in the Jeep and got a funny look off them (probably cos not a Landy lol:rofl:).

yes my girls and i go to bispham and look at the displays every year, then its always got to be the chippy on way home .....

yes there was a few from further afield . one jeep sounded like it was popping (didnt like sitting still i guess)....
