Bystander
I thought (and I might be wrong) that it is Mephisto that is the empty shell and not as Tim says the Munster replica.
Adam
wasnt there an article in the late bart vanderveens mag (wheels and Tracks) about the original and the replica then being made in Germany? Mark As Great war Truck says, it was covered in W&T a while ago, work done around 89/90 with as many of the original manufacturers as possible contributing replica parts. (If anybody wants to read the W&T article, I'd be happy to scan it in and email if you send me a PM. For those with a set, it's issue #35) 'Mephisto' in Brisbane is the only 'real' survivor. Cheers, Adam.

WCMatt
The Americans brought one home as a trophy after the war as well. It was at Aberdeen Proving Ground(s). It was scrapped either in 1942 or during a Korean war era scrap drive.... Matt
