agripper Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 Have had a thought. Which is the longest serving military vehicle in the British forces, or for that matter any other country. I know my Cent was on active service from the first contract of cents in 1944 but this contract was filled between 1944 to 46 so I dont have a exact in service date but know it will be no later than 1947 and was cast from service in 2006 last seeing activbe service in 2003. I know that the BBMF aircraft are still in service and are classed as active but none of these aircraft have been in constant use or evan owned by the RAF since the war.
