R Cubed
Hi all, can any one tell me about and if possible supply pics of a military Bedford 4x4 truck with a pto driven rear winch that has a vertical drum between the chassis rails and just behind the rear axle ? Runflat
The winch equipped QLB (bofors tractor) had it's winch between the PTO and the rear axle. But you say the drum is behind the rear axle. Can't think of an answer. Why you asking? Do you have any photos?

Ed Batchelor
Could have been repositioned? This is on ebay at the moment got a start price of £9.99, which the winch must be worth on its own!

The winch location is as you say, too far back, does look a bit QL in the chassis, but winch is not Turner or Wild as on QLB. The rear axle looks like diff is missing, if so , then not a RL or QL axle, also steering box mount does not tie in.
