Two new Hawker Siddley aircraft make their maiden flights on the same day.

 

The Dominie, a crew trainer and the HS125 executive transport. The Dominie is the first in service with the RAF(Dec 1965) but it is not until April 1971 thyat the HS 125 enters RAF service.
