What are they! 1/2 marks will be given to country of origin, Ive no doubt GWT will know them right away as these are all pre 1939. Rlangham Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Second one is the Mk VIII 'Liberty' Tank, built for the proposed 1919 battles by Anglo-American co-operation. The American ones differed from the British ones in some way - i'm presuming this is an American one due to the 6 ton M1917 Tank on the back (US Licence built version of the French FT17). Looking at the photo, the difference could be that British Liberty's were fitted with Hotchkiss machine guns, and American ones Lewis guns?
