Veg oil, a bit of caustic soda (drain cleaner), a bit of methanol, a bit of heat, leave it to separate for half an hour and youre ready to go. Tony B Posted May 27, 2008 Share Posted May 27, 2008 Most of us are quite content with beer! Did try running a Mobylette, proper French pedal one, on Methanol once. Had to super glue and bolt the centrifugal clutch. Started it dropped off the stand ended up in a pond and the cylinder head blew off. Sunflower oil is the best, volitile enough as it is. they make the stuff, vegtable oil, up at Woolwich. 180 tone roller drier unit. Burst into flame for a pass time with Sunflower.
