ajmac
Were the 20" split rims used on 3 ton lorries a standard universal part that fitted all 3 toners or were they manufacture specific? I'm thinking rim width, offset etc.. I need some for a WOT6 and when I am searching through a huge pile of random old British wheels with only a tape measure I'd like to know if finding a 20" 8 stud split rim guarantees its what I am looking for! Richard Farrant
Yes Alaister, a standard 20" wheel that also fitted Bedford QL, CMP Fords and Chevs, Humber armoured car and many others that were shod with 10.50-20 tyres at the time. Duson
I can only confirm that, I fitted QL rim to my WOT8, and have one from CMP Ford, they are all the same.... Barry Ring offers new 10,50x20" T-grip repro tyres or you can fit 11-20" bar grips if you can find any.
