sirhc Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 I’m surprised the turret has a data plate with the hull number on it, it would have been possible for turrets to be swapped at base overhaul. There is no database or any way of linking the hull number back to a military registration number as far as I know. The data plate you want is in the hull behind near the NBC pack and next to the fuel filter. What is the history of the vehicle? Where did you get it from? PaulBT22 Posted August 15, 2022 Author Share Posted August 15, 2022 The data plate is next to the fuel filter like the picture you have posted, its inside the turret but attached to the hull, sorry for any confusion. I have just bought it from Whithams auctions, as far as I am aware its a direct release from MOD Here's the plate on the rear of the hull. I asked Whithams for the release paperwork and they said to contact ESA, to do this I need the registration number...
