Can anyone help me with the correct valve clearances for the Jaguar J60 engine in a CVRT Scimitar? There seem to be several different options. The block is not ribbed and is not slotted between the cylinders if this makes a difference (a fairly early engine) Just building the cylinder head up now to re-install and I want to get the valve clearances right. Yes, that's the one. I asked Whithams for the release paperwork and they said to contact ESA, to do this I need the registration number... I don't think the registration numbers are under the paint but I'll have another look.

The data plate is next to the fuel filter like the picture you have posted, its inside the turret but attached to the hull, sorry for any confusion. I have just bought it from Whithams auctions, as far as I am aware its a direct release from MOD Here's the plate on the rear of the hull.

Thanks sirhc, The data plate in the turret has the hull number but no registration number, I don't know why. The plate on the rear of the chassis matches the data plate. Is there a database listing hull numbers and registration numbers ?
