Fram63
Hi all. Recently treated myself to a lovely little Bedford OY. 1941 model, rebuilt by military in 1951, so probably several vehicles mixed together after that 😂 I've been hankering after a military vehicle for several years but not had the spare cash to get one until now. My Dad was a driving instructor with the Royal Signals back in the 1950's and he used to drive the OY. He passed away a couple of years ago and left me a small inheritance, enough to buy a vehicle, so I decided on the OY as a bit of a memorial to him. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and I will apologise in advance for any stupid questions I may ask 😉
Richard Farrant
Well done on buying a Bedford. I have owned my Bedford QL for 34 years and had some great times with it. regards, Richard

Fram63
Thanks guys. I'm very happy with her. Got a few minor niggles, but easy enough fixed. Needs a clutch plate and also plan on giving her a full service and change all the oils. Luckily I've got a few friends who are military vehicle fans to call on if I need a hand.
