david052 Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 Hi Having finally co-located my 'collection' under one roof, it occurs to me (it was on the to-do list!) that I need to do something about insurance and what have you. What sort of things should I ask for from an insurance quote, and what are the likely exclusions I should look out for? Are some companies better in certain areas than others? Do we have a discount scheme with anyone? None of my collection runs at the moment, though I plan to have the Sultan going in 6 months time, but I have a quantity of spares, as well as minor items like gensets. Security is about to be upgraded, and the shed is on a friend's farm. Finally, I try to maintain safe methods of working, PPE, some task risk assessment, but the main drawback is that I work alone.
