SarahHTH
Hello everyone, My name is Sarah and I am a researcher for a TV show called Highway Thru Hell. We are working on a special episode telling the story of the evolution of the heavy wrecker. I am looking for photos for the following military vehicles: - Holmes W45 - M1A1 - Sherman Tank in action - Military vehicles broken on the side of the road - Armoured Recovery Vehicles ARVs - BONUS if you have any of the above on film. I'm looking specifically from the era of World War 2. If you have any of the above you would like to share with me, or can point me in the right direction to find theses photos, that would be great. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me at 604-688-3937 ext 146 or email me at schow@greatpacifictv.com Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing for you all soon. Have you considered starting with early war vehicles like the Scammell Pioneer, or are you just looking at the later American vehicles? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scammell_Pioneer Edited August 3, 2017 by Lauren Child
onthecorner
Have you considered a dictionary? Fixed it for you
sterling1961
Fixed it for you That is an Canadian phone number located in BC so Sarah is using American spelling and most likely why the request for photos of US made stuff.
alixcompo
Interestingly a photographer friend of mine mentioned that a lot of researchers go to the public for library material these days because they don't have to pay; relying instead on the feel good factor for amateur snappers. Cash strapped times , I'm sure it must be something to do with Brexit
Tony B
The request is also for sources. Like a lot of things, easy if you know where they are and what to look for,
