question Plug on the lower back end of ferret

Can't say as I remember seeing this plug on my last ferret, there is a hex head 'plug" on the lower right hand side (as your looking down at it) on the rear of the hull below the removable rear armor plate that protects the radiator. Is this maybe a drain plug for the radiator? Thanks.

Correct, lower drain for coolant system.

Thank you, Robin. I'm planing on replacing all of the hoses on my ferret's radiator & while I'm back there I'll probably do the belts as well.

 

I've been trying to research this will little sucess, is it posible to do a "coolant system" flush on a ferret like one can do on their civilian auto?

Don't know. I did some searches and couldn't find any info on doing a cooling system flush on the ferret. I assume a flush on one would be the same as on any other vehicle with a radiator? Any idea as to where the drain petcock on the B60 might be? Is it near one of the belly plate access ports (hopefully)?
