peter75
I am looking for a base plate and auxiliary base plate for a British 4.2" mortar. I know any thing for the 4.2" mortar is very hard to find so any help or lead's would be helpful. Thanks Peter.
robin craig
As a fabricator it doesn't look overly complicated to make a repro one. No doubt once you have finished the repro and put the last coat of paint on it 5 of them will appear on Milweb. Maybe as an ex smoker who had many a fag ruined by buses turning up I am jaded in my opinion. Robin
peter75
I don't see a problem to fabricate a base plate but I have only been looking 2 months and it is a long term project. It would be nice to have an original one if possible. I have already found quite a bit of other kit and manuals. I am shore there is one out there I just got to find it. Peter.
