simon king
I'm assuming that British jerrycans would have been painted to the current vehicle colour standards - so 1943 cans would be SCC2 whilst 1944 cans could be SCC2 or SCC15 and 1945 cans would be Scc15 Is that right or did they just paint them any old green? Thanks
Tony B
No some where sand yellow. :-D I have two that came out of a Normandy barn a few years back, they are yellow, and always has been. Point of intrest for D-Day 5,000,000 Jerry Cans were supplied. By the time the Rhine was crossed only 2.000,000 could be found for the operation.
