woa2
There are 2 different ratios on a WOT2 rear axle. Either 6.83 to 1 or 6.8 to 1, it depends the number of teeth on the crown wheel and pinion. 6 teeth on pinion with 41 on crown wheel is 6.83 to 1 5 teeth on pinion with 34 on crown wheel is 6.8 to
monty2
diff according to the carrier manual is stamped next to the filler plug. Normal is 583 which is 35 gear teeth and 6 pinion teeth There are 2 different ratios on a WOT2 rear axle. Either 6.83 to 1 or 6.8 to 1, it depends the number of teeth on the crown wheel and pinion. 6 teeth on pinion with 41 on crown wheel is 6.83 to 1 5 teeth on pinion with 34 on crown wheel is 6.8 to 1 this means if you put a carrier diff in a WOT2H it wil go max speed 82 km/h in stead of 70 km/h 6,83/5,83 *70 = 82,00 km/h thanks to the Hoseman his assistance, problem solved
