Tim Isaac
Changing the oil on the Sexton this week and wondered if anyone can recommend a good oil? Thanks. Tim
MatchFuzee
If by "good oil" you are looking for a manufacturer of lubricants, Morris Lubricants' products are excellent but if you are asking about the correct oil for your Sexton they should be able to help you. http://www.morrislubricants.co.uk/ Edited May 20, 2015 by MatchFuzee Typo error
hummermark
Hi i use aroshell w100 The anti-wear additives makes the oil more slippery than regular single grades. This oil is approved for radials but is more pricey then a straight 50wt if you have a good r975 that does not use much oil I would use it but if it burns a fair bit of oil use the cheaper stuf. Maurice
They always use oil , modern 50 from all manufacturers will do , just flush oil tank clean before filling , and you will be OK .
Tim Isaac
Thanks chaps. Aero Shell is certainly the one most recommend for radials by the looks of it, though were presently using Morris straight 50 with no trouble, and it does use a drop.
