guykay
Seen today in carrickfergus. Put on a plinth June this year looks good at the moment, but I don't know how long that will last next to the sea. Paint is starting to bubble up already
johnhughes
The initial design work for the tank that became the Churchill undertaken by Harland and wolf and some production work was at a small shadow factory on the woodbourne road in carrickfergus, hence the "new" tank to replace the 25 pound gun that was previously at the war memorial. RattlesnakeBob
Looks grand ....would anyone know if she was 'complete' or has she been robbed internally of anything worth having ? .....I'd like to think if she was complete that she could be renovated rather than just sit there .....and maybe a externally complete hulk (if there's any left out there ! ) that looked good enough from the outside be put in her place? ....
