It should make a very nice restoration, it has a lot of very nice hard to find parts. It's not been messed around with and is still on standard bore. Kevin Wells Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 Hi, Would you know if that paint you are using would be fine on the engine itself and if so, details of the paint and supplier. I have just started on a 3HW and am keen to paint it the back to the way I found it - ie engine, gearbox etc all painted. Bike came from India and I'm quite sure the paint on the engine wasn't any type of heat resistant paint but seems to have fared very well.
