I need to remove some old electric cables coming out of the hull exterior. These come out through metal bosses welded to the hull but I can't easily undo any of the nuts and don't know exactly what I should be doing.
For example, the cables at the rear end appear as two cables on the outside but only one on the inside, and they seem too big to fit through the boss. I wonder if there is a connecting plug and if so I'll just pull them off. However the cables are pretty ratty and I don't want to be yanking them off if this isn't correct. Seems it's too easy a procedure to rate a mention in my manuals, so advice is appreciated!
