I'm Ian, I don't own any military vehicles, but i have spent a considerable amount of time keeping them on the road being an ex member of a front line Cavalry regiment equipped with Chieftain tanks between 1979-88. But I'm very keen on the history of the parachute regiments of the British army during WW II. Also I have a big interest in the units that were involved in the liberation of the region where I live. So, using this forum I hope to learn more about some of these vehicles and maybe to ask specialists to enlighten me about specific problems, eg identification of units on photographs.
