andyroo
I've been having a bit of bad luck with the radiator in my Saladin of late. Anyway, I think I've managed to repair it so I am in the process of pressure testing it before I put it back for the third time. What I would like to know is what pressure dose the pressure relief valve open at. I have fitted a new one, and the valve opens at 8PSI which seems rather low. Richard Farrant
Andy, From my days working on Saracen, Ferret, etc., when we would often have to renew the valves, I recollect them to be marked with the pressure and I am sure it was somewhere around 8 to 10 psi. A lot of ordinary rad caps of that era were no more than 10psi. Richard
