Fatboy Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 Hi Everyone, I've been lurking on this site for quite a while now, always wanted to own and restore a tank and found this forum while idly browsing for information, really enjoyed reading about all sorts of projects going on here. Finally decided to say hello, as I've been meaning to for ages and not managed to get around to it I don't have any military vehicles yet, and certainly don't have the space to keep a tank (or the funds to buy one ), but once I've whittled down my fleet of tatty german cars (tidying up an old Porsche 944 before I sell it and got my mate's 1996 323i in my lockup having some serious rot correction done) I'd love to get a small truck or similar. Nothing wrong with Austin Minis, even if they aren't overtly military - I owned one of the last Mini Cooper S', built from spares after British Leyland stopped making them.
