What to pay for a Dingo in 1968, one or just a little lot of 5

I've mentioned this before, in 1968 three of us bought 6 Dingo's from Ruddington sales, average price was £37 each, all were in running condition, I think it was probably at the actual July 1968 sale of the catalogue in the first pic!! we collected them from Ludgershall depot where they were stored

The other catalogue for the 1949 sale may have been the sale my late Uncle bought a Morris armoured car !

As an apprentice starting in 1967, I recall my first pay packet was about £3 and 15 shillings.

 

I gave up learning a trade for £3.50 old money in 1968 went labouring on the building (called 'the hump' then) £10.00, 1969 went driving a AEC dumb truck 7 days a week £63.00 pw, took home £36.00 after tax. Did sensible thing, training course to get a trade, then worked 6 1/2 days a week for £23.00 as a plant fitter, S*d that been self employed ever since...:yay:
