Tobin
Hi, I am rebuilding a Matilda and am working on the Instrument panel. The electrical switches have a sliding cover and above them a brass label which is held in place with what I would describe as 1/16" dia fluted brass pins. They look like a rivet but have a spiral flute down the pin and they are hammered into a blind hole to hold the label in place. Does anyone know what they are called or where I may find replacements? Thanks Tobin

When I was rebuilding engines with MoD we used them to attach the rebuild plates to the cyl block.
the_shadock
hello Tobin, does your Matilda come from Australia? Do you have a turret for it? thanks Pierre-Olivier
eddy8men
matilda 2 turrets are like honest politicians, there maybe 1 or 2 around but the chance of ever finding one are remote. good luck with the search tobin, if i can help in any way then just ask. all the best rick
Jack Innes
Big Flats Rivet Co. http://www.bigflatsrivet.com/ will have them if you cannot find them locally. They are good, reliable people to deal with & could mail the drive screws easily.
