Towbarlover
On many WW2 US Army GMC AFKWX trucks the Hood VIN number is supplemented with a "S" after the figures. Could anybody explain the meaning? Does it stand for Short body or rather Stretched body, or not at all? Please clarify. Towbarlover
N.O.S.
I've read that S stood for suppressed - i.e. vehicle fitted with radio suppression.
