Bazooool Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Hi All can you have a look at the pics as im scratching my head over what particular model this is as the owner seems a little vague in his description the drop down tail gate says CJ2a ? as does the grill / headlights cant make out the size of the screen .could be CJ3a ? theres no embossed "willys" logo on either the bonnet sides or the rear tailgate, no sure on the screen but owner says not ..........repro body ? its currently on ebay with the description as "Military" possibly due to its colour also odd gear lever ?..........recessed instruments on dash ? thoughts ?......................... 0 Brooky Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Looks like an M38 to me Ask him for the chassis number if it is an M38 the number should start with MC, The number should be on the plate attached to the dash, or to a plate attached to the front edge of the right rear wheelhouse If it is an M38 then only produced between 1950 and 1952 (USA contracts) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
