WW2 deep level air raid tunnels in Clapham, London are up for rent.

There are four sections of these tunnels between Stockwell and Clapham south below the Northern underground line plus others elswhere at Googe street, used by Eisonhower as a command centre and at Camden

This is the only vacant tunnel, the others are used for archive/document and film/video storage, sometimes the Eisonhower centre at Goodge steet is open to the public on the "Open house" week end

The one for rent is directly opposite my cousins m.o.t station. There is a further entrance at Clapham south. One in Clapham pk road and the fourth at Stockwell.

Old news, the tunnels in Jersey were used for mushroom farming for years. :yawn:

Another 1000foot long section of the four ww2 deep level twin tunnels that runs below the Northern line in South London, the section at Clapham south tube station is now also up for rent, complete with 8000 bunk beds! ..btw asking price for lease is £90.000 pa!
