billgatt
I just bought a Bedford MK off Ebay a few weeks ago and just took delivery late last night. The guy who sold it claimed it was a 1972 model but that it was first registered in around 1980. Can I get it dated from the chassis number? Do I post this number on this site or should I ask another source? It was sold as having a Bedford 330 diesel. What are the obvious differences between this and a 500, I am not sure which it actually is. There are two plates fixed inside the cab the original says its a 330 but a later plate added I guess when it was decommisioned says 500. Is there anything on the engine that would quickly allow me to tell if its a 330 or 500? Which is the better engine for these trucks? Thanks for the ehelp.
