Tony B Posted September 26, 2007 Share Posted September 26, 2007 Steve McGuire and I met the old lady from Hell going down the Pilgrims Way on the trip to Ieper this year. For those who don't know it, pilgrims Way, just outside Biggin Hill, is a cart track that has been tarmaced at some time. The main road was shut due to road works so everything was on the single track. Going reasonably when this old dear in a silver Nissan came past a passing point practically under Steve's Dodges front bumper stopped and just shut her eyes. Took about 45 minutes before we got through, in the mean time the old bat had nearly got her car stuck sideways across the lane smacked the front to blazes in the hedge and driven the blood pressure of the local postie through the roof.
