fv1609
Is there not a FV part no. stamped on it that can be then linked to a parts list?
robin craig
Looks like an early 432 left side drive sprocket shroud / guard. R
Fugly
I looked all over it for a part number - cannot see one. I certainly think its off a tracked vehicle. I think Robin's on the right "Track" :red: pardon the pun, but would like to be certain.
challenger
Maybe this one. Sorry about the quality my original wasn't that good. This is an early Abbot so the early 432 guard may hold water. The second one is a prototype 432 called Trojan at the time. And the last one an early build vehicle which has different guards. Noe of these have the ribbed version that you have but it could be a later build. Edited April 20, 2012 by challenger
Fugly
Is there not a FV part no. stamped on it that can be then linked to a parts list? I have found a part number stamped on one edge: 82850T Can anyone assist me further armed with this number please?
fv1609
82850T comes up as Fender, vehicular from Vickers Defence Systems. 2510-99-821-0243 Unfortunately I have no Domestic Management Code to direct the lines of enquiry further.
Fugly
Thanks for your help Clive - it narrows things down slightly ! Cheers
ChasSomT.
Vickers made the Abbot, did they not?
andym
Vickers made the Abbot, did they not? They did indeed. The Abbot parts manual lists the LH front trackguard as FV492182, NSN LV9ACR/2510-99-866-8355 but from personal experience I'm beginning to doubt its accuracy as a reference source!
