I am Brian Carter and I drive a Scammell Pioneer SV/2S recovery vehicle that is painted in civilian Green. It's been in these colours since I forst painted her in the winter of 1977/78. She has the name of Dewrance and has been featured in several magazines as well as on the telly in the 35 years since I first became involved with her as s teenager. My wife and I bought the lorry in 1987 just after the big storm and have since added a Scammell Pioneer R100, Ex-military Series 3 LWD FFR Land Rover, A towed Scammell Fire Pump and a couple of Scammell wheelbarrow fire pumps. Christine, my wife, drives the R100 and also the recovery one when necessary. If you see us at the shows, come and say hello.
