AlienFTM Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 so it was made as a Mk2/3 and then upgraded to a Mk2/4 ? No. The Mark 2/3 was the definitive Mark 2 build. Earlier Mark 2s were upgraded to Mark 2/3 and designated Mark 2/4. It would be one or the other, not both. Quote
Catch 22 LBDR Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Good work guys, another ferret nailed, I know your pain as I am one of many trying to find there ferrets history. Would love to see some pics on hear. Ross Quote
Peter4456 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Look what I found in the August 1963 issue of Soldier magazine- your Ferret at Horse Guards Parade, London! This pre dates your Vehicle History Card and shows that it wasn't just in storage! The occasion was HM the Queen presenting eight new standards to the Household Cavalry (which, at that time, consisted of the Royal Horse Guards and the Life Guards). Quote
robin craig Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Although very sadly my memory and detail recognition is not up to scratch I likely saw your vehicle back in 1967 as the Maresfield Camp was down the road and we went past the place on a regular basis and I think they had open days that I was taken to. I was still in a single digit age at that time. R Quote
