I was wondering if anybody can identify this periscope, i have aquired, and what vehicle it is off [ i can hear a lot of EASY being shouted at the screen!]

Markings:

Fv 442292

Fv 710777

No.59 MK 1 FV 63[9?]8750

VIY 1971

Ser no. c. 1353

 

In pen across the body: OOE B72 and OG TIGHT

 

The viewer has distance markings and a lot of figures.

 

Also there are electrical connections?????

00EB72 was a Chieftain mk 2.

Any Idea what happen to the Chieftain or where it is now??

It is a Chieftain 9 dot gunners sight, it was used before lazer sights came along.
