0 sirhc
Looks like a standard 109 FFR. If it is 24 volt then it is FFR. If it it 12 volt it doesn't mean it's a CL, as there were standard 109 GS vehicles too. Those civi rear cross members were sometimes fitted in service, and quite often fitted after disposal. 0 richardrosser
yep she has full 24 volt, still has the shunt and geni on the bulkhead :-D
0 fv1609
Those civi rear cross members were sometimes fitted in service, Yes this is true. There was no Land Rover part for a miltary rear cross member. I know there are companies that make repro ones. But these would not be available to the MOD who could only use the Land Rover made civi one.
0 AlienFTM
Interesting mix of indicator and stop / tail lenses. Big, flat (post about 1985?) indicator lenses and small domed stop / tails. Not a criticism - merely an observation. ;o)
0 richardrosser
urm - new to the military side of things so bug eyes are after 1985 :? if thats the case as she was de-mobbed 1985 should i put the "normal" lenses on her - no criticism taken, any advice taken
0 rapier rob
From experience, if it was in the parts bin and it fitted, it went on! So your 109 could be a mixture of bits, it depends on who and how many people rattled spanners on it. Looks good to me! :-)
