chevpol Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 (edited) Like these? RN ones Mark oops, these seem to be ordinary coaches, nice though!!!! Edited March 16, 2011 by chevpol Quote
Paul Drake Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 They are nice, much like the RAF ones, the earlier Bedford SBs had big double doors and steps at the back for the ambulance role, but the later ones were just passenger buses. Looks like the War Office had a contract to supply all Services with the same vehicle. Paul. Quote
Paul Drake Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Clive, That's the ones I remember from my RAF days, with front sliding door, not a folding door like later. Took my first trip in one of those from Lincoln to RAF Swinderby as a new entrant (about a 100 years ago!). Quote
