jimk Posted September 11, 2010 Share Posted September 11, 2010 A few years ago I was at local scrap yard that allowed people to go into the lot and saw a pile of light pallet racks. When I returned to fetch it someone had dumped a huge pile of that nice grey/orange stuff. I got 800lbs for $80 US (.10/lb). This yard is too far away but maybe you can find something similar nearby. We just bought some for work from Acorn Storage in Kent via ebay; under a grand for 10 or more bays, second-hand but looks like new, loading signs, SWLs, the whole works.
