Abbot (03DA30 - believed a prototype) was purchased from Jacksons and had spent some time at a friends Garden Centre, where there was a bit of space to drive it. It was in pretty good condition with a new powerpack... looked as if it had been overhauled recently. I decided to move it to covered accomodation to complete the restoration... mainly just painting. I got a good deal when i purchased it as it sometimes would not start... this turned out to be the starter motor which was loose ! However prior to the move the starter would not engage at all. Friends rallied round and a Diamond T turned up to give it a bump start.... See the video on youtube.. More videos to follow.. including power pack removal - to sort starter motor.
