ajmac
I've come to the conclusion that the Loyd carrier was more of a parts bin vehicle than I previously thought. It looks like the drum brake back plates, shoes, engine, gearbox, torque tube etc are all ripped off the truck, not to mention the chassis! If anyone could give me pointers for spares, both HD pieces of metal and consumables etc... I'd be most thankfull. Are there any dealers / specialists who have NOS Fordson 15 cwt spares? PS. It would be nice to see a photo of a Fordson 15 cwt, ideally in various stages of restoration so I can ID parts :cool2: Edited June 30, 2010 by ajmac
woa2
It's FORD, Not Fordson. There are not many suppliers for parts and some spares are impossible to find. If you contact me I will give you a few contacts. What parts did you want - give me a list.

Richard Farrant
There used to be a company called Nordian Services at Matching airfield run by a chap by the name of Wally Wheatley i had lots of bits off them in the eighties for my Ford F.A.T dont know if they are still trading though. Wally sold up, but someone in Yorkshire bought a lot of the stock and used the Nordian name. I beleive he then sold the stock on to a man in Liverpool area, who I briefly dealt with. Now it appears that the stock has moved on again.
